If you happen to be one of those lucky people who lives either near the ocean or a large body of water the chances are that you could go searching for lost treasure in the sand with a metal detector. 3. It is important that you take into consideration the company from whom you will be purchasing your metal detector. Look at what type of warranty they provide as well as their reputation in regard to customer service. Also it is important that you know if any thing goes wrong with the metal detector they will stand up to their promise with regard to repairing, replacing or exchanging the machine.
